It has been confirmed that the 2025 IWF Youth World Championships and the 2025 IWF Junior World Championships will now be combined into ONE event. It will be held in Peru with the event running from 30 April - 6 May.

Please note that the Qualifying Standards already published on this website in the 2025 Selection Policy for International Events remain unchanged: Youth - B Grade, Junior - A Grade.

There is now a combined Preliminary Entry Request (PER) for Coaches who intend their athletes to be eligible for selection to this event. The deadline for PER submission remains as it was for Youth World Championships: 12 January 2025. The link for the PER can be found on the Weightlifting tab.

The 2025 Selection Policy will be updated and available on the website mid January 2025.
