Weightlifting New Zealand is excited to announce the 2023 World Masters Cup to be held in conjunction with the Oceania and Commonwealth Masters Championships in Auckland, New Zealand March 2023. This event is sanctioned by the Oceania Weightlifting Federation and supported by Auckland Unlimited.
Exact dates are still to be confirmed, however we are looking at early March 2023 with the event being 7-10 days long. The venue will be Auckland CBD near to shops, cafes and attractions. Please be patient, more details will be announced soon.
In order to provide a world class event we are seeking feedback on what individuals would find valuable if offered when signing up and we are collecting expressions of interest for volunteers/ officials. This information will assist us in planning and preparation as well as approaching event sponsors. This is not an entry form, you don’t need to have qualified at this point to fill out the form.
